Shapes and Symmetry
Shapes with Millie and her kitten Biscuit, at a grade 4 level: the sides and corners of flat shapes up to the octagon; triangles named by their sides (equilateral: 3 equal sides, isosceles: 2 equal sides, scalene: no equal sides); the square, rectangle, rhombus and trapezoid (called a trapezium in some countries); right angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, lines of symmetry, and the faces, edges and corners of cubes, cylinders, cones, spheres and pyramids.
Every card is a little story or a riddle: “I have 4 equal sides and 4 square corners. What am I?” Each topic has its own world and a big seek-and-find picture to explore.
