Then and Than: The Star Tower
Climb up to the Star Tower, Professor Luna Moon’s little observatory! A big telescope stands next to a small one, mugs of cocoa wait on a tray, and cushions are ready for star-gazing.
Remember: then tells you when, or what happens next: “First the stars, then cocoa.” than is for comparing: “The big telescope is taller than the small one.”
Magic trick: Than has an a, like compare. Then has an e, like when and next.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Star Tower and find:
- 🔭 Find the 2 telescopes. The big one is taller than the small one.
- ☕ Find the 4 mugs of cocoa. First look at the stars, then drink the cocoa!
- ⭐ Find the 3 star cushions. Sit down, and then look up.
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
