Row: The Bunny Farm Market
Hop over to the Bunny Farm Market! Farmer Daisy’s carrots grow in long, neat rows, and on the duck pond two bunny friends row a little boat.
Remember: row (said one way, rhymes with go) has two meanings. A row is things side by side in a line: “The carrots grow in a long row.” To row is moving a boat with oars: “Mia and Zoe row across the pond.”
Magic trick: If there are oars, a boat or water, row means pulling the boat along. If things are lined up, row means a line.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Bunny Farm Market and find:
- 🥕 Find the 3 rows of carrots. 3 rows with 4 carrots in each row make 12 carrots.
- 🚣 Find the 2 bunnies who row the boat. They row it with 2 oars.
- 🐥 Find the 3 ducklings swimming in a row. One more row! These ducklings make a line too.
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
