Bow: The Octopus Tea Party
Welcome to Octavia’s Tea Party! Every teacup wears a pretty polka-dot bow, and after her song on the little stage, Octavia the octopus takes a big bow.
Remember: bow is spelled the same but said two ways. A bow that rhymes with go is a ribbon tied in loops: “Biscuit has a pink bow on his collar.” A bow that rhymes with cow is bending forward to say thank you: “Octavia takes a bow after her song.”
Magic trick: You take a bow, and you tie a bow. Take a bow and say “wow” (rhymes with cow). Tie a bow, then off you go (rhymes with go).
