Rose and Rows, Toe and Tow: The Bunny Farm Market

Welcome to the Bunny Farm Market! Farmer Daisy has planted her carrots in neat rows, she is selling sweet pink roses, and her little red tractor is ready to tow a wagon full of pumpkins.

Remember: A rose is a sweet-smelling flower with thorns: “Farmer Daisy picks a pink rose.” Rose also means went up: “The Sun rose over the farm.” Rows are lines of things side by side: “3 rows of carrots.” Rows also means moves a boat with oars: “Mia rows the boat.” A toe is one of the five on each foot: “Biscuit stepped on my toe.” To tow is to pull something along with a rope or hook: “The tractor can tow the wagon.”

Magic trick: You smell a rose with your nose: both end in o, s, e. Rows is just row with an s. A tow rope pulls, and toe ends in e, like the e in feet.
