Obtuse Triangles: The Bunny Farm Henhouses

At the Bunny Farm, Farmer Daisy’s henhouses have wide, low roofs. Look at the triangle at the front of each roof: its top corner is opened wide, like a big yawn.

Remember: An obtuse triangle has one obtuse angle, bigger than 90°. Its other two angles are acute. A triangle can never have two obtuse angles: together they would be more than 180°.

Magic trick: One wide yawn, two little corners.

Seek and Find

Look carefully at the picture of the Bunny Farm Henhouses and find:

  • 🏠 Find the 3 henhouses. The triangle on the front of each roof is wide and flat, with a wide-open top corner.
  • 🐔 Find the 5 hens. They’re pecking for seeds on the grass.
  • 🌻 Find the 4 sunflowers by the fence. Tall and sunny!
  • 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
