Grab your glitter glue, it’s the Craft Party, where everything comes in nines! Every sticker sheet has 9 stickers (3 rows of 3), every bracelet gets 9 heart beads and every tic-tac-toe board has 9 squares.
The 9 times table
- 1 × 9 = 9
- 2 × 9 = 18
- 3 × 9 = 27
- 4 × 9 = 36
- 5 × 9 = 45
- 6 × 9 = 54
- 7 × 9 = 63
- 8 × 9 = 72
- 9 × 9 = 81
- 10 × 9 = 90
- 11 × 9 = 99
- 12 × 9 = 108
Magic trick: Two magic 9 tricks: the digits of the answer always add up to 9 (6 × 9 = 54, and 5 + 4 = 9), and the first digit is one less than the number you multiply by (6 × 9 starts with 5). You can also use your fingers: fold down finger number 4 for 4 × 9. Fingers left of it = 3, right of it = 6 → 36!
