Flower and Flour: Millie's Kitchen

Welcome to Millie’s Kitchen, where Grandma Bea is baking! There are bags of flour on the counter and pink flowers in the window box.

Remember: Flour is the soft white powder made from wheat that we bake with: “Grandma Bea adds a cup of flour.” A flower grows on a plant and has petals: “Millie picks a pink flower.”

Magic trick: A flower grows: flower and grow both have the letters o and w. Flour is in our bread: flour ends with o, u, r, just like our.
