Gravity: The Castle Orchard
Below Rainbow Castle grows Princess Ruby’s Castle Orchard. Apple trees line the lawn, ripe apples drop onto the grass, and picnic baskets wait in the shade.
Remember: Gravity is a pull that pulls things down, toward the middle of Earth. It works without touching. Gravity keeps us on the ground, makes apples fall and brings a ball you throw up back down.
Magic trick: What goes up must come down: gravity is always pulling.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Castle Orchard and find:
- 🌳 Find the 3 apple trees. Their apples hang on until gravity pulls them down.
- 🍎 Find the 5 apples lying on the grass. Gravity pulled every one of them down to the ground.
- 🧺 Find the 2 picnic baskets. Gravity holds them on the blanket too.
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
