Lose and Loose: Coach Nora's Field Day
Welcome to Coach Nora’s Field Day! There are soccer balls to kick, shiny trophies to win, and a bunch of balloons that came loose and are floating up into the sky.
Remember: Lose (one o) means you can’t find something, or you don’t win: “Don’t lose your water bottle!” Loose (two o’s) means not tight: “My shoelace is loose.”
Magic trick: Loose rhymes with goose, and both have two o’s. Lose lost one of its o’s!
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of Coach Nora’s Field Day and find:
- ⚽ Find the 5 soccer balls. They are lined up for the big game.
- 🎈 Find the 4 balloons that came loose. They are floating away into the sky!
- 🏆 Find the 3 trophies. It’s all for fun, so nobody minds if they lose a race.
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
