Sunset and Moonlight: The Star Tower

Welcome to the Star Tower at sunset, where Professor Luna Moon is getting her telescope ready! The sun is going down, the first stars are out, and a toy spaceship sits on the table.

Remember: sun + set = sunset, when the sun goes down in the evening: “We watch the sunset from the tower.” sun + rise = sunrise, when the sun comes up in the morning. moon + light = moonlight: “The moonlight is soft and silver.”

Magic trick: The sun rises in the morning (sunrise) and sets in the evening (sunset). The word light joins sun, moon, star and day: sunlight, moonlight, starlight, daylight.

Seek and Find

Look carefully at the picture of the Star Tower and find:

  • 🌅 Find the sun going down behind the hills. sun + set = sunset.
  • ⭐ Find the 5 big stars in the sky. Their glow is starlight: star + light.
  • 🚀 Find the toy spaceship on the table. space + ship = spaceship.
  • 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
