Millie & Biscuit

Cupcake and Teapot: Millie's Kitchen

Welcome to Millie’s Kitchen, where Grandma Bea is making a special breakfast! There are cupcakes on a tray, teapots on the counter and a stack of warm pancakes.

Remember: A compound word is two small words joined into one new word, with no space between them. cup + cake = cupcake: “Grandma Bea bakes a cupcake.” tea + pot = teapot: “The teapot is full of hot tea.” pan + cake = pancake: “Millie flips a pancake.”

Magic trick: Clap once for each small word: cup… cake! Then write the two words right next to each other, as one word.
