To, Too and Two: The Lemonade Stand
Zoe and Mia are selling cold lemonade at the Lemonade Stand! Two big pitchers sit on the counter, a row of cups waits to be filled, and two butterflies have come for a visit.
Remember: to shows where you are going, or comes before a doing word: “We walk to the park.” “I like to bake.” too means also, or more than enough: “Biscuit wants some too.” “It is too sour!” two is the number 2: “two cups”.
Magic trick: Too has one more o, like something extra: also, or too much! Two has a w, like twins, twelve and twenty: all number words.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Lemonade Stand and find:
- 🍋 Find the 2 pitchers of lemonade. Two is the number word: it has a w, like twins.
- 🥤 Find the 6 striped cups. Zoe and Mia fill each one to the top.
- 🦋 Find the 2 butterflies. One came first, and then the other one came too!
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
