Sea and See: Mermaid Lagoon
Welcome to Mermaid Lagoon, where Octavia the octopus waves from her rock! Little sailboats bob on the water and starfish rest on the sand.
Remember: See means to look with your eyes: “I can see a dolphin!” The sea is the big salty water where fish and whales live: “The boat sails on the sea.”
Magic trick: See has two e’s, like two eyes looking at you. Sea has an a, like a big wave.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of Mermaid Lagoon and find:
- ⛵ Find the 3 little sailboats out on the sea. The sea is the big salty water.
- 🔭 Find Octavia’s spyglass. She uses it to see the boats far away.
- ⭐ Find the 5 starfish on the sand. They live by the sea, and you can see them from the rock!
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
