Silent Letter Challenge: The Octopus Tea Party

Welcome to the Octopus Tea Party, the hardest table of all! Octavia has set out butter knives, wrapped presents and glowing lanterns, and every silent letter has come to tea.

Remember: A silent k in knife and knee; a silent w in write and wrap; a silent b in lamb and thumb; a silent h in hour and ghost; a silent g and h in light and eight; a silent t in listen and castle; a silent l in half and walk.

Magic trick: Say the word slowly and listen. Then look at its letters: any letter you can see but cannot hear is a silent letter!
