Grid Riddles: The Octopus Tea Party
Octavia the octopus is hosting a tea party, and every cup, cake and chair at her party has its own point on a grid. Use everything you know about grids to solve her riddles!
Remember: Across first, then up. Moving right or left changes the first number, and moving up or down changes the second. Subtract to find how far apart two points are on the same line, and add the parts when you go across and up.

Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Octopus Tea Party and find:
- ☕ Find the teacups on the checkered table. They are in 2 rows of 3: 2 × 3 = 6 teacups.
- 🍰 Find the little cakes on their stands. There are 4, side by side at the front of the table.
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
