Diary and Dairy: The Bunny Farm Market
Welcome to the Bunny Farm Market! Farmer Daisy sells milk and cheese at her dairy stall, and somebody has left a little pink diary on the bench beside it.
Remember: Diary (the i comes before the a) is a little book where you write about your day: “Millie writes in her diary every night.” Dairy (the a comes before the i) is milk and foods made from milk: “Cheese and butter are dairy foods.”
Magic trick: Dairy starts like daisy, and Farmer Daisy sells dairy! In diary, the i comes right after the d, because I write about my day. And dairy rhymes with fairy.
Seek and Find
Look carefully at the picture of the Bunny Farm Market and find:
- 🥛 Find the 4 bottles of milk. Milk is a dairy food.
- 🧀 Find the 3 wheels of cheese. Cheese is made from milk, so it is dairy too.
- 📔 Find the 1 pink diary on the bench. Who could have left it there?
- 🐱 Millie and her kitten Biscuit are hiding in every picture. Can you spot them?
